Wrote this last night in another group. How I feel about drinking on Day 10

Drinking takes the present moment, which is a beautiful gift, and throws that gift straight into the trash. Drinking, like I was, was a symptom of ingratitude and massive lack of faith in myself and in the natural flow of life (the two are, in reality, ONE THING).

I read lots of different posts on here, and one of the things that I see people say is that "you have to get to a point where you want to be sober more than you want to drink". I really feel that way, finally after 20 years! You sound that way as well, but remember, to be vigilant and keep your eyes on that sober prize. If you hit a rough patch, remember that "this too shall pass"
