This weekend last year

Was a big turning point for me. Thursday-Monday night was a bender. I was feeling withdrawl symptoms (not just nighttime) during the day between binges for the first time.

I swore drinking off for all of June and got drunk 5 times. Rationalized it by looking at calendar at work and saying "Old me would have gotten drunk 12-14 times".

July was terrible. I was a victim and controlled. Then I finally quit in August. I am in contol now. But, am always looking to the past as to be sure not to go back.

Have a good weekend friends.

The hardest part to me was looking back in the past and remembering the "good times" and forgetting the terrible ones.

So I started to look to the future. Look ahead for good times. The past is the past and you cant change that. What you can make is a new future. The future can be what you want. And that making of the future is entirely based on your actions and your desires.

best of luck to you.
