I'll just tell my somewhat morbid, but realistic thoughts;
Terrosism - a great income source for the tabloids, isn't it?
A life lost by from terrorism isn't worth any more than a life lost by some sort of disease. Those are not reported worldwide every time it happens.
Maybe the media should stop giving the terrorists that much attention. After all, it just leads to what they want, to reach out with terror to as many as possible.
It's extremely unlikely you will ever be struck by terrorism. One analogy I can think of the fear of flying. With an expected 5000 planes in the air at any minute, not even counting private planes, the amount of air disasters reported is rather low, isn't it?
Let's consider the average death rate as per today; 1.8/sec, and assuming you spent 30 seconds reading this single post, more than 50 humans have died since you started reading.
Maybe think about it.
