First post: I suppose it's time for me to say howdy
So...Howdy!
I stumbled over the forum what was seemingly an age ago (after an "oops" on day 4 of my initial attempt, this is day 13 of my redux) when I googled "I quit drinking, now I can't stop stuffing my face!"
I can't tell you all how glad I am that I made that search.
I've always been fairly impulsive, so when I decided to quit drinking there wasn't really a whole lot of planning, preparation or reasearch that went into it (which is to say, there wasn't any at all). Well, needless to say, the past couple of weeks were an absolute tailspin, and I'm not at all confident I would've stayed sober without the guidance and insight offered in this forum.
So, I just want to say thank you to everyone here. I'm so relieved I found SR, and I look forward to sticking around for a long time!
