Eliminating old friends
So tired of hearing the judgemental words of old "friends" one girl even went to the exent to say my friends were gross! This is a girl that shaves her face! And would bang down my door if I didnt anwer!

It could be that you are seeing things more clearly now that you are not drinking. There were a lot of changes in my life in early recovery, too, and removing a few people from my life was necessary. There are people out there (and here at SR) who will not judge you.

when I changed my life I had to change some of my drinking buddies too.
The ones I had fit great into a drinking life...but not into the sober life I was building.
My real friends were always the ones who supported the changes I was making
