500 days!
500 days!
Just celebrated 500 days sober.
Amazing how much my life has changed for the better.
I have made so many new, real, friends. Not just drinking buddies.
I wake up every morning with a clear head.
I love my commute to work.
Maintaining sobriety isn't as tough now; all the important people in my life know I'm sober and always make sure to have non-alcoholic drinks for me at get togethers.
It's easy for me to tell someone I'm not drinking because I'm sober now.
Sobriety is part of my identity and who I am now.
There are still struggles and moments of weakness when I wish I could drink. But they have become fewer and fewer. My life is filled with so many better things to occupy my mind and time.

Congratulations and thank you for sharing. I'm at 30 days today and hearing stories like yours is really helpful. Things are already better but I wish I didn't think about drinking as much as I do. Sounds like it does get better! 😁
