National wine day ugh

Next week, just got an ad from a restaurant.

This kind of stuff just glamorizes it. Glad I can just delete the email and save myself $100 on dinner and drinks for 2.

Yep, we can delete the emails, turn off the TV, pitch the magazine. It's a great feeling to know we have the choice to listen or not, and especially to drink or not.

May 3rd was NATIONAL TWO DIFFERENT COLORED SHOES DAY here in the US.....and i didn't even know!!!

in keeping with the footwear theme, May 10th was National Lost Sock Memorial Day.

it only SEEMS like Wine Day is a big deal. it can pass just as easily and unnoticed as the others..............

I got an e-mail offer for a free Mimosa for Mothers' Day. I chuckled and deleted it.

Its amazing how it is advertised as some quasi healthy, sophisticated beverage. Its fricking poison. I really think in sobriety we need to successfully train our brains to tune it out and make it irrelevant.

.....and today, all these yrs later and continued
reruns, Otis still drinks.

As we can see, alcohol or drugs hasn't changed
over the yrs.
