So Lazy
So Lazy
After 4 months of not drinking I find that I am still really lazy. I still sit around like before just drinking soda or juice. I did notice this past week that I actually went outside after 5pm and worked in my yard like I did back in the day. It only lasted about an hour but as I was doing this I thought wow and I use to do this every night. So my question is, is it normal to be so lazy or do you need to push yourself all the time. I never had to push myself before to enjoy walking and gardening.
I did find my energy level was really low but only for about three months. When drinking we drinkers often have low iron/vitamen B levels so a doc visit & blood test might be an idea just to see if it is anything obvious like that.
what are you doing to support your recovery beyond not drinking?
what goals have you set?
what actions have you taken?
what clarity have you got in terms of what you want out of life?
it's easy to fall into 'lazy' or 'lethargy' when there's not an overarching momentum to our lives. it's easy to fall into addictive patterns of behavior even without alcohol or drugs if we've not tended to the root of our addiction....
