Roodie, day one for you too? Awesome! I'm counting the hours, since it's all I got. As of now, it's been 13 hours for me. Can't wait to hit 24 .... yeah one of the things I do when I am not drinking is read (I can't really read when I drink) so I hope to catch up on some reading soon ...

ive been trying to stop for the past - seven years I think- trying to stop on my own. I would make it 2, 3, 4, sometimes even 7 days but then would fall off and drink for four or five straight days, sometimes even during the day or all day. Now coming off of a four day bender and I really want to make it stick this time.

Glad to meet you Aaron, I found it so helpful to sit and read and post on SR when I would normally be drinking. Check out all the diffrent forums that interest you. It really gave me hope and strength to read the stories of recovery forum. You can do it
