Day 5

Thought I'd check in. Another day 5. I usually give up on this day but have plans this evening that ensure no drinking.

If anyone is struggling today I highly recommend watching the YouTube channel AlcoholMasteryTV. The guy makes a whole lot of sense to me.

Yeah, in the one I watched he said something like while you think alcohol is de-stressing you, underneath your body has gone onto red alert to save your life, and that makes a lot of sense to me too.

I always think, if you can do 7 days one at a time, you can do as many as there are. You never have to drink again.

Day 8. Wow.
I was getting a bit restless, but then I went back and read the posts i've written on my Day 1's - showed me what I had forgotten - those Day 1 regretful feelings - and showed me I don't want to feel those.
