Falling out of love?
Woop! I just read an article on BBC news website entitled "Are Britons falling out of love with booze?"
Britain has always been known as a nation that loves a tipple (or 10) but apparently our alcohol consumption is falling. Best finding in the article is that apparently the young are not big drinkers. This gives me hope for my children, their children and all the generations to come.
I know I've fallen out of love with booze in a big way. How awesome if society slowly does too? I love reading good news

I read last night that drinking is like smoking, we'll learn as a society how bad it was for us down the road. The message is going out...
plus I think generally younger folks are more health conscious that a couple of decades ago.

Thanks for the heads up kenton.
have read a few articles saying more or less the same thing. My own experience/impressions are that neither of my 2 daughters who are both in their 20's base as much of their social life on drinking as my friends or myself did. Maybe I put them off.
