Update
46 days and doing well - there's no "trick" to sobriety, I'm finding. Occupying my time with constructive things equal to the time I spent planning/thinking/drinking has been the golden ticket.

Checking out the forums here has been good, but the internet can be just as crippling an addiction, so I've been keeping it to a minimum. Addictive things/substances are inanimate objects that have no mind of their own; why shouldn't we have power over that ?

Good thoughts to all - if I can do it, as stubborn as I am, anyone can !
