Long journey after my daughter's death
MIRecovery,
Whenever I see your name, I remember, and wonder how you are.
I am so glad that you are finding joy in life , and I know that your daughter would want that for you. Wonderful on your sobriety . Stay strong and thank you , for sharing the wisdom that you have learned at such a price.

MIR, I have always admired you and found you to be such an inspiration. And while I am truly sorry for your loss, I am very grateful you are here to share your story, strength and wisdom with us all. Thank you.
I really gave drinking serious consideration but no matter how I sliced and diced it I always ended up at the same spot. All that drinkng would do is to make a really horrible situation worse. I just couldn't rationalize how getting drunk would help one damn bit. So if alcohol wasn't the solution it was up to me and others to find a way to deal a situation that would rock anyone's world. I will say that I'm pretty darn proud that I won and alcohol lost.
