MIRecovery,
Whenever I see your name, I remember, and wonder how you are.

I am so glad that you are finding joy in life , and I know that your daughter would want that for you. Wonderful on your sobriety . Stay strong and thank you , for sharing the wisdom that you have learned at such a price.

Thank you for sharing. You share means the world to me and I am so sorry for your loss. The fact you stayed sober and remain positive in the darkest of times is amazing.

Thank you and best of luck to you

My heart breaks for what you've been through, MIR, but I know your daughter would be proud to see that you've held to sobriety through it all. As you say there's no probably that alcohol can't make worse.

I really gave drinking serious consideration but no matter how I sliced and diced it I always ended up at the same spot. All that drinkng would do is to make a really horrible situation worse. I just couldn't rationalize how getting drunk would help one damn bit. So if alcohol wasn't the solution it was up to me and others to find a way to deal a situation that would rock anyone's world. I will say that I'm pretty darn proud that I won and alcohol lost.
