It took at least 3 or 4 months for my thoughts to change when I was out to eat or at a bar. Though even just last Friday I was at a rooftop seafood restaurant on the beach, and "longingly" looked at the guys at the bar. But only for a moment. I caught myself.

For me, I just have to play the tape forward to the inevitable hangover. I also ask myself "is it really that fun?" Meaning, did you ever really enjoy sitting along at the bar, staring into your phone, and drinking away your life?

The answer is no. I lived that life. I don't need, nor want, to go back.
