Hi All well Wednesday i failed and binged for 2/3 days so Day 1 again

I feel like i failed and theres nothing i can do about it now but dust myself off and get back on my sober path

Today i feel fine and can see im not able to have 1 drink and leave it !! I am an addict simple as that whether its drink, slimming pills, sleepers, coke whatever it is i cant take one and leave it EVER

LOOKING into AA meetings next week its BH in UK monday so Tuesday it is
Im going away for a long weekend next weekend so this will be my time out time

Thank you Done4today im very open minded i suppose in a way im embarrassed incase i see someone i know or it gets about that i go to them
My family and close friends know of my addiction but few haters would love to hear that im in this mess

I cant believe how easy i fell, one drink and depressed downing bottles of wine for days after

AA meetings will still be on despite the bank holiday. My home group fell on Christmas Day this year and was still fairly well attended. Often it's the long weekends we can most use the support and the company of our fellows.

Glad you're back with us, and ready to learn from your slip and add more tools to your recovery box.
