Hesitated when signing in

I wanna get high. I know I have four days clean and the struggle is real. I already have it in my mind that I'm getting high tonight. Honestly I already have the alcohol. I just didn't make the call yet. I'm not a drinker i only drink when I sniff coke but when at the store I grabbed a couple beers because I felt like I would need them later on tonight. I don't know why I was hesitant to sign in, smh I guess I didn't want to tell you guys that I planned on getting high tonight idk. I love SR it's the only place I can come and truly keep it 100 with myself about myself and my addiction.

I think you came here for a reason more than just saying hi, right? Dump out the beers....you'll be much happier tomorrow.

Don't call.
Tell that voice in your head , that you call the shots, you don't want to go down that rabbit hole, start that crazy ass cycle again, for what? A brief period of time that in the grand scheme, compared to the rest of your life means nothing and wouldn't be missed.
Tell that voice that you hear it , but you're done listening to ITs bs, you will definitely not regret it. And dump the booze , no way it can help anything, especially tonight. Don't call, no matter what, even if feels like your butt willl off, it won't, if you're worried it might keep both your hands in your back pockets all night if necessary( it could help with the not calling) and by morning you will be more confident in the fact that you can hear the crap voice , but not listen to IT.
Don't call, I guarantee you will not regret it. Rootin for ya

Hi 914! I'm glad that you came here and are posting. Send the beer down the drain--it will leave you feeling empowered!

When you're considering using is the BEST time to sign in. You're still in your right mind, and may be more receptive to encouragement. When the coke wears off, how are you going to feel? Because THAT is the end game, not getting high...that's just temporary. Play the tape through all the way, don't just stop at the part where you're high and feel superhuman. Keep the tape going...what happens after that? Is that what you want?

you and your kid deserve better 914Born.

If you're like me you've given years to being out of it.

Give at least a little time to staying clean and sober - you might be surprised at what you find?

"I'm not a drinker I drink only when I sniff coke" ... those are your words. Don't minimize things. This is a big deal. You know that this is not going to result in anything good or positive for you. Please, do something else tonight. Take care of yourself.

Its not worth it. Play the tape through. Sadly one day the tape may wear out and end. You have a chance for you and your kid to have a wonderful life. Please dont do it.

Ive bought vodka twice since Sat played with it and thrown it away, and the relief is offing huge. Im 47 hours since last vodka and did a body combat class this morning and it was like my body was screaming a great big thank you. I was pumped. Then i walked dog by river and had a real conversation with a bloke about his sick dog. Im high on it.

Will be craving in an hour to go buy it plan on a meeting later.

Fingers crossed for you Weev

It might help imagine the two tomorrows: One, if you get high today, and two: if you stay sober today. Whitch will you be tomorrow?

Stay strong! You are in my thoughts!

Good of you to post, but is SR enough? You log off and you're alone with your addiction. How about adding support. Is there a NA or CA meeting near you? Coke is hard to kick on your own.

Can't get much higher on the addiction totem pole than coke and booze. That combination has taken many people down. I hope you find the strength to overcome. THe more time you can put between you and your last high the easier it gets. Good job on posting first.
