Need drink ideas for when you go to dinner
Need drink ideas for when you go to dinner
I don't drink pop/sodas. Tired of water all the time. No coffee at night.
What do you order? Looking for something not to high in sugar or calories -like fresh lemonade (yum!)
Are there any creative ideas, or is it water?

My favourite is sparkling water with freshly sliced lime in it or sometimes, to feel a bit fancy, my boyfriend and me order non alcoholic cocktails with dinner.
But yes there's a definite lack of not overly sugary alcohol free drinks. Maybe someone wants to invent any, please?

I'm the same boring really, just a sparkling water with some lime juice and ice. I find it refreshing and different to the usual diet cokes etc. I avoid the virgin cocktails, down to the amount of sugar in them, plus personally for me, its dicing too close to something alcoholic and I worry it will trigger a craving for a 'real' cocktail. That is personal though. there are some alcohol free cider and beers, but again, too afraid it could create me wanting the real thing. Some people find them helpful though.
I've always been an iced tea guy. I noted you mentioned no coffee at night. I don't think iced tea has nearly the caffeine as coffee.
Having said that, Southern-style "sweet tea" is absolutely vile.

Hate to repeat others here but in social situations, I drink club soda with a lime wedge or with cranberry juice. I love sweetened iced tea but almost no place, outside of the south has it available, or makes it well if they do.
I drink club soda with a splash of cranberry and a lime wedge. Tasty, fizzy, and better than a soda.
