30th Birthday
Happy 30th Birthday, Homestead!
I know how the guilt and shame can bring you down and keep you down. It's one of the ways the disease keeps you hooked. Make a plan and know for sure that you can do this. I, too, think it's important to understand the underlying reasons for the addiction. That is how I began to heal.

Happy, happy, happy birthday!! Five days is amazing and I congratulate you in achieving it. Here's to your 30's.. and that beautiful day outside? Take time to really breathe in that fresh air. Life just feels better that way..

Seriously tho posting and reading here helped me break that 'feel good...there can't really be that much of a problem... drink again' cycle...
Happy birthday - I hope it was enjoyable and memorable

Late to the party, but happy birthday from me too Homestead.
Oh, to go back and be 30 - to see the light and stop drinking. My entire life would have been so different. I'm so happy you took a hard look at what it was doing to you. You'll never have the regrets most of us do. Hope your day was a great one.
