Can't believe it's already been 9 days. I feel sort of lucky that I haven't given into some of the strong urges, but I know that can also be viewed as perseverance. So far today is going well. Can't wait for the day that the urges are pretty minimal again. Exercise has helped me a lot, as well as allowing myself to eat more than I normally would to help with the cravings.

Congratulations!!! 9 days is awesome. I wonder too about the alleviation of the urge to drink... It seems like for some people, it almost completely goes away at some point. Im not there yet either... It's a daily thing for me. Basically I've been trying my best to make my recovery an integral part of my life so it doesn't feel like a chore. Some days I'm more successful than others
