Hi all,
Haven't been in here in a few days because this week has been so hectic. I'm working a lot of hours on top of still being sick with sinus infection, headaches and horrible sore throat. I'm just woke up in the middle of the night, and now I'm trying to get back to sleep, but every time I start to doze off,
I wake up in a panic!
I'm doing okay now , having some warm herbal tea.
Still sober!

I've had that same thing for a few days - bad sore throat, can't sleep well, it sucks! But it's a cakewalk compared to the hangovers/withdrawals I used to go through ;-) Stay strong and don't forget we are always here if you need us on SR.

Great going Bronzie. There must be something in the air cause I've been sick as a dog for days, sneezing, caughing, achy, couldn't sleep. Finally feeling better today. Keep up the great work. John

Get well soon Bronzie. It was a shock to me when I got sick when I'd been sober. I remember feeling quite indignant til I remembered that's what happens to everyone. Lol. Sinus infections are painful though. Hope it clears up soon.

Yea, normaly I would have just drink my way thru everything...the congestion and throat pain. But that only hinders me from getting well, and I feel so much better because when I would drink, I would also smoke too many cigarettes, then feel dehydrated and coughing even worse the next day. Yes, I will take this over those awful hangovers!
I know it's just the springtime allergies, and my doctor has me on claritin and Flonase now. I am drinking lots of fluids and getting as much rest as I can. Just had a glass of orange juice (for the vitamin c). Going to bed early and waking early for work in the am.
