Thumbs up Day 10 and slight weight loss...

...which is a good thing! I'm already thin, but I had packed on an extra 8-10 pounds that were unwanted. I've dropped around 2-3 pounds just by not drinking alcohol. My mind is still foggy and I wish that would lift. All in due time.

Great going on 10 days, PippoRossi, and on the weight loss, too.

That foggy-brain will lift, in time - I promise.

Thank you. I know it will. I just don't remember it being quite like this last time, but that was many a moon ago. :-)

You'll lose some waterweight. It's not fat-weight but you'll definitely feel better without lugging around all that retained water.

I know you're definitely right there. For me, it will surely be fat-weight, too, because when I drink I crave the most unhealthy foods (greasy) and in huge portions. When I don't drink, I do not crave such things, ever.

Congrats on 10 days Pippo.

You're not craving sweets? Ugh...I've had a blueberry muffin craving for the past 3 mornings. Today I caved in and made them. 190 cal per muffin...I had 1.5.

I can't blame anyone but myself for only losing 5lbs in the last 2 months...I've been cheating by eating too much sugar and last week DH and I ordered a pizza. YIKES! When I was drinking, I hardly ever ate sweet stuff. So frustrating!!! At least I'm working out regularly.

Anyway, way to go! Keep on Keep'in on

Nope, not craving sweets. I'm more of a salty type of gal, myself. Ha! However, when I was drinking, I was craving sweets and greasy food all the time. Not good!

Lucky you! I know what you mean about greasy food when drinking heavily. Ugh...the day after a blow out, HAD to have fries!!!

I'm going to try to eat a piece of a protein bar whenever I have a sugar craving. Quest has some really good choices, the brownie mint is yummy.

Congratulations on 10 days PippoRossi. I hope the brain fog eases soon.

Losing a couple of pounds in early recovery is pretty good, I gained weight early on with sugary cravings but they did reduce and I lost weight subsequently.
