Classical (bad) addict thinking. (I can speak authoritatively on it because I was loaded with it a few years ago.)

This website is for the sick and suffering, not the recovered.

You belong here BEFORE you behave here.

Take your keyboard away from the addict living in your head, log back in, and get some HELP.

You can do this.

The booze will do that to you by beating you down so bad you think there is no way to get out, but you can.
Get a solid plan of action in place. Start hitting AA every day, start seeing an addiction counselor, perhaps look into rehab. There is help everywhere, it just takes that first step to get down the right path to ending the madness.

SoberNunn, you must never give up and you must believe that you can do this. It's that simple and that difficult. But, we're here to help. You are never beyond help.

you are not beyond help.
you just haven't reached out to the solution yet.
you might have to make some tough choices, as there is no EASY way to sobriety.
just a very simple way.

Please don't go! This is exactly the kind of thing I would tell myself. Getting sober is not easy and we all can attest to that. Keep at it and you WILL get there.
