Hiya JWC!

Just because you're 21 days without a drink (nice job so far!) doesn't mean the ups and downs of life are gone. It means you have a chance of dealing with them.

Look here, I have a lot more years than you have days (!) and I woke up yesterday morning at 3:30 a.m. and couldn't get back to sleep. I found myself having a somewhat rocky day. You could say I was tired!

But, but, but, since I don't drink it was only a little rocky at times, and definitely manageable, not the complete disaster it would have been.....

.......and by the way, yesterday's fifteen-hour day did not end in a bar listening to the bartender shout out, "Last call!"

The day ended with no problem getting a good night's sleep last night.

It might be an idea to talk to your dr if you have not done so. I hope that you feel better soon.

My sleep cycle took a good while to get back into whack. (almost a year)

Now I sleep like a rock. Time takes time. :-)

Find balance in all you do. Too much of
anything is said not to be good for us.

Besure to eat healthy balance meals
that will ensure you get most of the
vitamins and minerals needed to function
in a healthy, happy, sober way.

If you can do one thing, complete one
task today then that is a huge accomplishment.

Protect your recovery investment and
it will take care of you in the long run as
you build a strong, solid foundation to
live your life upon as you move forward.
