Day 14 and an update
 

Hi again you lovely people. Today marks my second week of sobriety, and I also got the results of my tests from the doctor. Everything has come back satisfactory, apart from an iron deficiency which needs treatment. I feel like I have dodged a bullet as far as my health is concerned. All the health anxiety has made me realise even more that I can't put myself through this ever again. I made myself ill with worry over the last week. In the past this would have made me reach for the bottle, or several bottles! Sober reality is tough, but I hope that I'm going to be tougher! Thanks again for this place to come and read and just be xx

What a relief, Earthmummy. I feel the same - can't ever go down that road again - I'll never make it back. Congrats on your 14 days.
