Already feeling the effects of not having alcohol in my system.
A little sick with chills. I guess it's not too bad. I know it's going to be uncomfortable. I guess I should also monitor my blood pressure.

I was a binger so those effects were my specialty.

Eat when you crave. Now is not the time to go on a diet.

My husband bought me wine. I had been drinking beer with a high alcohol volume but it was starting to make me sick. He didn't want to watch me go through the withdraw. At least I cooked dinner and ate well tonight. I needed that. I'm not giving up though!! Thank you for all your support...

Good for you!! The first few days can feel like an eternity, but it will get better. And post here as often as you need to, there is always someone around to lend a kind word.

Have you told your husband about your firm decision, and your plan if you have one? Have you thought about a plan?

I'm glad you are here and working toward sobriety. Did you get rid of the wine? If you aren't feeling well a visit to the doctor is always a good plan.

Thanks.. planning on going to the store tomorrow to put healthier foods back in the house. fruits, veggies, & low cal juices.
