Another successful night
Hello all:
My family and I just came home from a friend's house. They made homemade pizzas and salad with the kids. It was fun. BUT: it was two families that we didn't know. As soon as we came in, one on the husbands served us a little glass of beer. The host said, "Oh, she doesn't drink...". I told him it was ok, and thanked him and that my hubby would drink it.
It was tempting but after a bit I forgot about it and once my hubby finished his beer I have him my glass. It was fun. My kid loved it.
It's good that I told these friends that I don't drink. It puts pressure on me to not do it in front of them. They are really into beer. Like beer experts. I'm not going to lie. AV was active but I made is and now I am home.
I'm still under a lot of stress with the firing that's coming and my mother is also coming which always adds to the stress.

Been there several times in the last 2 years.
Similar situation here tonight.
My wife has 7 bottles of wine sitting next to the fridge.
She asked me to open 1 for her last night.
She drank about 1 oz. And left the rest on the table.
Normies.
The thought of guzzling the whole bottle crossed my mind...but I rolled the tape...it took about 2 seconds.
I'm in bed now and I bet it is still there.
I don't drink any more.
