The weekends are the worse
The weekends are the worse
I have to be around my mother, which seems impossible to do sober. I need to drink just to get me thru to Monday. I'm tired of being around miserable people. Sick of waking up to being cussed out. She made the rounds first thing this morning, room to room bitching everyone out. I can't take it anymore!
((bronzie)) drinking isn't going to make things better. Can you get out of the house for a while? Visit someone, go to the Library, maybe the mall? Anything to remove yourself and children from this situation?

Bronzie,
Drinking won't help.
It will just put you back into the viscous cycle that's killing you.
You've gotta be there for your kid.
Besides, the hangover after drinking will make it even harder to deal with your mom.
Make yourself proud today and choose sobriety.

Thanks everyone. I am NOT drinking. I'm with my youngest daughter now it's naptime. My oldest has gone to lunch with a friend. After nap, we will hopefully go on a nature walk.
I don't do malls, large crowds and people give me more anxiety. Also, I live in a very small town, malls are many miles away and I don't have gas money to go far, because my check all went to bills this time.
Things in the house have calmed down, and my mom is actually getting ready to leave and go shopping. I'm just over her bipolar episodes!
We will be out of the house by the time she gets back to go enjoy the rest of our day!
