The same thanks go out to everyone on here at SR because as i continue to say the support is very much appreciated and sometimes people don't realise how the smallest comment can get you through that crap day or trigger moment, so thankyou.
As with my usual monthly update I try to say what I've learned or how things have changed this past month or so. This month i have to say it's been an enjoyable ride, no trigger moments , no bad days that i can really recall, it's all been pretty smooth . I had a week off work which helped me relax a lot and kind of gather my thoughts and really just unwind a bit. The one big thing i have realised though is the amount of people who have come to really respect my decision to be in sobriety. Im not saying they didn't before but it feels like they now have realised and accepted it rather than kinda waiting for things to return to the old days ,which of course they won't. These people are my friends and have been supportive throughout but you forget sometimes it can effect them as they have in some ways lost a drinking buddy so to speak and someone they can have this drunken chats with and let loose. I think that's what I've really learnt the further i get into sobriety that's not just 100% about you it plays in part in everyone's life's whom you are close, yea I'm aware I'm really rambling yet again haha, but im sure some can relate to what I'm getting at, and i hope many more will as they get further into there own sobriety journey.
I hope you all are well , and as always , if anyone needs a chat or lift, I'm only a message away.
James.
