That one is pretty common unfortunately. It takes some time for the brain and body to heal itself when it isn't confused by booze anymore. Some good days some bad... but the bad ones get fewer and farther in between. (from my last stint of sobriety of length) It will get better, but definitely frustrating. Keep pushing on!

Yep my energy levels were all over the place. Still are but that could just be because I'm old.

Yep I had fluctuating levels of energy.

I found having something sweet around 3.30pm to 4pm got me through. A hot chocolate, a doughnut, a milkshake whatever.

It stopped me having a slump in energy and thinking about drink.

I believe that my sleep had been disturbed for years as I never fell asleep naturally, I relied on booze to make me pass out.

You will get there I promise xx

Yes JWC...I've found that getting a good workout in helps.

I had a tough day today, slept most of it. Yesterday I felt fine. The difference between yesterday and today is that yesterday I worked out.

Yeah, this happened to me too. Don't feel badly if you feel like sleeping a lot...just your mind and body healing themselves, which as others have mentioned is a lumpy and a bit uneven process. Over time you will see steady improvement.

Hang in there!
