Making progress
Last night I still had some insomnia but not as bad. My guts are doing better and I'm not running to the potty anymore. Today so far my emotions are in check. I got my new journal and today on my break I'm going to walk to a little park that is close by and make my first entry.

I wrote my first entry in my journal. It is strange how things come flooding out. In 3 pages I started from the beginning of my addiction through now. In the beginning I recalled places and things that lead me to alcohol. I went through major events and when I realized I need help. It was very therapeutic. I also was able to identify feelings that lead me to drink. I think I learned a lot already from this first entry. I hope this continues to be a good tool for me.
