Newbie seeking help
Hello 
I'm new to this place so don't really know what to say.
I have been struggling with alcoholism for about 8 years, i also have an eating disorder which saw me hospitalized for about 6 months last year. i was recently sectioned due to borderline personality disorder and was sneaking out the hospital to drink. i'm trying to get back on track and keep going to RISE meetings (similar to AA) and hope this place can keep me on track out of hours.

Hello and welcome, you've found a great place for support.
I, too, struggle with mental health issues, but we can recover.
I also struggled with alcoholism, sometimes to self-medicate, for twenty years.
AA helped me immensely, so I'm glad you are getting support.
You're not alone in your struggles. Just remember you never have to drink again.
