Here, Trying To Be Sober Again

I stopped drinking August 2015 and lasted until December 2016. I had a sip then. And then a few here and there. And last night, after a full day of drinking, I realize I'm finally back to where I stared. Perhaps not in quantity of alcohol but in drinking for drinkings sake. I'm also smoking a lot.

Its been a tough go of things since december and I've been using alcohol and tobacco for the stress. Sickness, death, new school, ect.

I am here to try to stop again.

Best wishes and love to you all.

Welcome! Its good to hear you want to be sober and are ready to turn a new leaf. This forum has been a blessing for me over the years. Stay close and post away.
Keep fighting the good fight!

Welcome back Kinzoku
I remember this from December
I think a lot of paths in life are simple.

If you want to learn a language, you have to study every single day.

If you want to lose weight, you have to burn more calories than you consume.

If you want to stop drinking, you have to never take a sip.

But EXECUTION is hard.
It is an everyday effort.

If you need ideas on what a recovery plan might look like start here:

I really appreciate the support. Dee your memory is fantastic haha.

Well I made it through the day. I told my girlfriend about quitting after we had a fight about why i wanted some alone time today. That went well, she is supportive.

Love you all.
