Day 3 :)

I said I'd come back and post on day 1, but something stopped me...fear of failure perhaps? But today is Day 3 for me! Not having too much in the way of withdrawal symptoms, just a headache and some fatigue, both of which are slightly better today so hopefully they continue to improve. I ordered the big book on day 1, have been reading posts here daily, and have been 'spring cleaning' the house I've been neglecting for some time, which has been a good distraction. Guess I'm also doing a little 'spring cleaning' to myself as well hahaha. No alcohol, eating well, staying hydrated, and exercising. Feeling really hopeful for my sober future!

Yes! Funny thing is, I didn't even think I was hungover when I would wake up every day after drinking. Now I see the difference.

Congrats on day 3. Have you thought of how you'll stay sober Jaz?

I'm new to this, never quit before, so it's all a little overwhelming! Not really sure what I should be doing. Ordered the book and saved the threads on here about tips for cravings and what to do for distractions. Appreciate any other advice/tips I can get!

Jaz- for me it is making informed decisions. Not just hoping will power works . Didn't. Dee will tell you- there is info in the sticky's on making a plan for sobriety. AS good place to start.
