I'm day 5 too - I know I won't drink tonight as I'm working until 3am. Keep going - I know the weekend is difficult but think how you will feel tomorrow x

Kind of worrying about the next couple of days x sunny weekend days are hard. But I'm digging deep x good luck to you to. Nice to talk to someone in the same place. Feels lonely this week x

I don't know about you but I just don't feel like doing anything this week. I do go to work but I then just want to curl up and watch tv and then sleep. I'm hoping this will pass in the next few days.
We're on day 6. I'm working nights tonight so this weekend will be ok for me. Keep strong lovely
P.S you're not alone - this website has been so supportive so far. It makes me feel normal and I have sympathy for people who are going through the same emotions as I.

Oh yes ... headaches, some body aches ... felt so, so tired the first few days. But know your body is healing. Rest if you need to. Take it easy. Post and read here lots. Reach out for support. Keep yourself occupied. The days will come together, and your sobriety will get stronger day by day. Be patient and calm. Be confident but not complacent. You are doing great!

Tattotracie - have you been successful this weekend? It's day 7 today. I have been working late shifts all weekend so it's been quite easy for me. Thinking of you !!!

It's my first sober weekend in years. I worked yesterday and been gardening all day today. Didn't find it as hard as I thought it would be. One day at a time x yeah us day 7 xx

I'm on day 8, and have had moderate....I guess it'd be more discomfort than headache; a friend told me that's most likely because I haven't been sleeping very well. I nap a couple hours at a time - my sleep is partly screwed up anyway because I work night shift, so I'm not too worried about it. As long as I'm not drinking, I can soldier through.
