3 months

Just checking in. 3 months into sobriety. Still dealing with high anxiety here and there. The last few days have been fairly good. I thought it would be easier the second time around but it isn't, it's harder. The good news is that all of my blood tests came back good. I went for a massage tonight and walked past a bar, I really really wanted to go in and have a glass of wine. I played it out in my head and went home and had a bath. So happy I didn't.

Congrats Cusper :)

I think initially it can be harder the second or third time around...but if you stay the course it'll get easer :)

Congrats on three months sober! :scoregood To add happiness to your sobriety, I suggest you make a gratitude list every day. :)

cusper 03-16-2017 07:48 AM

Thank you so much for the encouragement and support! Yes Least I think a gratitude list is much needed. I have a lot to be thankful for and it really important to keep focus on all wonderful things that are happening.

Good for you! Three months is a miracle for sure. I agree with the gratitude list suggestion, it would certainly help me out as well. Just keep on going forward and I think its great you were able to play that tape all the way through and know where it leads. I promise as time goes on the desire will be lifted from you and you will wake up not even thinking about it. It is an amazing feeling and you deserve it! Have a great day
