I spoke to a counsellor today thru my EAP and feel so much better getting it out there...I have been referred to someone for a face to face appt tomorrow after work. I'm nervous but excited at the same time. I realize that I will not get the kind of support I hoped to have from my husband but that's ok. He just doesnt have a proper understanding. Or maybe he is scared of me changing. I don't know. All I know is I need to stay sober and I need help accomplishing that.
