If I can do this, anybody can

Hopeless (by choice) lush for the past 40 years and stopped drinking 31 days ago. The first 3-4 days I was in primary withdrawal, went to secondary withdrawal for another 4 days but woke up better on day 9. Had PAWS for another 5 days but feeling a little better each day. Now, 31 days into it, I'm back to 100% and sober for the first time since I can't remember! After all, being straight is just another state of mind.

My AV has been caged and muzzled. I no longer have the desire to drink at all! I've never felt better in my life. I'm renewed and focused.

If I can do this, anybody can. If you want to quit, you can make that choice. God gives you the power to choose.

Just some encouragement to those who struggle.
