Hello everyone, so glad I discovered this site as I find it to be an excellent way of dealing with your issues, especially when so many others here have been in your exact position.

Thank you for being here as well! I just joined today. It's quite a journey but its so refreshing knowing that so many have been there, and have also been in a deeper darkness and have come out of it. Alcohol dependence really shows how strong of a person you can be once you realize you have a problem. Keep fighting. Mind over matter. Surround yourself with good things and keep good thoughts and find things to laugh at, find things to put time into. I am still drinking, its my first time I've ever had an issue with drinking and I've been drinking the past 4 months, but thank god I have cut down to the point where I am not getting hammered 4-5 days a week. I'm 29 and I do not want to throw my life away. I am looking forward so much to my 30's. I wish you well, keep us updated.
