I'm looking forward to this weekend. Relaxing and feeling positive about life is high on my agenda.

I'm also working through a relationship that I have trust issues with that I'm trying to let go of. Gotta work this through.

Sometimes you've got to work harder at something and then over times just let go and let it end.
Wish I knew the difference between the two!

Yeah, that's why I say the count means different things to different people. [And that's OK!]

Since I joined here I have seen dozens of debates about whether or not counting helps or hurts. There doesn't seem to be consensus, but there doesn't need to be consensus. There can be a little dissimilarity between people and their methods.

Have you been reading FreeOwl's posts? This addiction is a cold-hearted killer. All of us working together against the addiction is by far the most important thing we do here. Everything else is pudding.

I often read FreeOwl's posts, they are very good. I think we share our sober anniversary date, he quit one year before me. I like pudding.

My insect problem is back again. I took a photo of whatever this is and showed it to a few people. Every one has a different opinion. I sent it to my brother. He wrote back "it looks like bed bugs. What kind of **** hole are you renting? Everyone here thinks you should tell your land lord."

Grand. I'll do that on Sunday. I know it's childish but I would like my dad, the law expert, to be here when I do so.
Why is nothing in my life ever easy?
I see Argos have zipped mattress covers like Ruby suggested some time ago. I had wanted to move out anyway.
I'm actually relived it's not scabies like was suggested to me before.

Amen. Recovery first, last, always. It is what we are here for. Thanks for the reminder and kind course correction, Nons.

Sorry you're down BrendaC. I haven't been feeling so very sparkley lately either. This too shall pass. I tell myself that as I plod one step in front of the other.

I'm in. I was expecting a horrible day and it turned out to not be as bad as I thought. I'm glad it's almost the weekend.

Trees, you said you needed to "get out of." Was it the relationship you are getting rid of or the trust issues? Either is a quandary. Sometimes I can't decide what to do and freeze up in panic. I hope you aren't in that state but it is a feeling that passes as well.

I don't feel like I'm making much sense at the moment. Head in the clouds and I'm leaving work for the day in one minute. Good to see everyone.

Good to see you Ruby. I'm glad your day went better than expected.

I hope you will feel better later BC

Tetra, good idea bringing your dad when ypu see your landlord. You should not have to put up with that.

If you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding!

Back home from a 12 hour day. My Toronto counter part surprised me yesterday with a Tim's coffee card. So I used it and brought in 3 dozen donuts this morning. People love donuts for breakfast.

Tetra, do you have any bite marks to backup the bed-bug theory?

I was waiting for someone to post that!

Oddly enough, I spent part of this evening at an event where young children learned how to make treats with -- gripping pause -- banana pudding! Cue "Twilight Zone" sounds.

(The treats looked predictably delicious, btw.)

Welcome to the thread SnazzyDresser.

That was good of you getting everyone donuts for breakfast STDRAGON.

Does ice cream count as pudding? Yes ice cream must count as pudding.
