there is nothing at all to fear.

Don't listen to what they say
I promise I wont try to ruin your life.
Ignore them and just do it my way.
Forget about your other friends.
They don't know me at all!
They just worry I'll take you away.
But you and me, we'll have a ball!

Hello, my name is alcohol
and now I'm all you've got.
I've chased away what you had.
But I no longer hit your spot.
What started out as now and then,
has become a daily grind.
With me your days are misery
and I have finally made you mine!

Hello, my name is Scruffanie
and you were never my friend!
It took me some time to see the truth.
But I'm finally on the mend!
Saying goodbye was certainly tough.
At times I didn't know what to do.
But I found strength through others like me
and I am so glad to be rid of you!
