Feels like I've really moved on

Having found this place in November 2015 in the most desperate state I could have ever found myself it was my absolute rock for over a year and somewhere that I stuck close too.

Genuine heartfelt thanks to many on here who offered support throughout the most difficult thing I have ever done - sorting myself out.

I've hardly been around this place lately - Since the turn of the year my time has been completely filled with work - really got my teeth stuck into it and gained my self belief and confidence again and it's given me something to focus on - having that focus really has helped me move on and accept where I'm now at and how lucky I am to have realised what it was that I needed to do - this place truly gave me the hope and support when I needed it most.

To those of you who are just starting out then please believe me when I say that it is really is the best thing you will ever do for yourself and anyone close to you - don't give up no matter how tough it gets, no matter what those bad times do pass as long as you don't give in and it really does get better and better - this is truly how life was supposed to be lived - it took a while to get here but boy I'm never going back to the old ways for anything - everyone always told me I was crazy but I've proved I'm not as crazy as they thought and if I can do it anyone can.

Take care everyone and keep going.

It's wonderful to hear from you, RedAndy. I'm not sure what would have happened had I not found SR. Thanks for taking the time to reassure others. Great to know you are thriving.

Congrats on day 201 BD84.

Anyone on Day 1 - you can do this - it really is possible.

Thanks Dee and everyone else - you all helped me turn my life around I can't thank you all enough.

Oh and Tufty should you read this thanks for the whack a mole analogy you mentioned on another thread recently - very apt but something I can't get out of my head now !! My diet and fitness moles are the two that need a proper thwack at the minute - can't seem to get on top of those 2 at all at present, need to sort it out for summer or I'll be in need a full new wardrobe !!! I know I can do it tho if I put my mind to it - fact is we really can do anything when we want it enough.

I'd stopped counting in days a while ago but just had a quick look and now at 474 - it really is doable just keep going and give anything and everything a go to find the right path for you.
