Just wanted to thank you all for your support posts,chats and msgs, you have all helped me to stay sober. Day four since my last slide. Have been eating like crazy and dreaming all night about alcohol! I am though, feeling positive about sticking to it this time and not letting those thoughts of justifying a few drinks emerge. Days are getting hot over here in Australia so I dare not go out in the sun - heat means Beer! just have to stay well hydrated and keep sweets on hand at all times. My mum and my partner are also not letting me go anywhere alone, which is a good thing as theres temptation (pubs) at every corner and the locals inside know me all too well.

Know all about the eating thing! Stuffing chocs and full suger cola down my neck like there is no tomorrow! Am also on day four. Aching all over, and very twitchy!

I've been sober for a week now and still get vivid dreams about getting drunk to a point where I wake up and have to double check to make sure I didn't go out the night before... As far as food goes, yes cravings are there....
