Just found out a wonderful friend succumbed to cancer. Made a drink. So upset.

Sorry about your friend, but that drink won't help.

I'm sorry for your loss Bhudsontuck.

It's despicable tho that the addicted part of us would use a tragedy so callously to get what it wants.

Honour your friend. Tip it out. Stay sober.

Drinking won't help you or bring your friend back. Indeed, all it will do is bring you misery and pain. Don't drink over it.

When my wife died of cancer, I drank. It does not help. Not drinking helps the most to move through grief. Not over grief, through it. Drinking just aggrevates the misery. I am sorry about your loss.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your friend. I am sure he would not want you to drink over his death.

I'm sorry for the loss of your friend. Pour out the drink and allow yourself to grieve. Sending prayers your way.

Very sorry for your loss.

When my wife and I split up, I drank.

All it did was magnify the negatives and minimise the positives.

Digging yourself out of your self-made pothole combined with grief just makes it that much harder.

Strength.

Sorry for your loss Bhudsontuck, alcohol is a depressant and will only magnify the situation.

im truly sorry to hear that.
as a cancer fighter/survivor, the absolute last thing I would want is anyone who knows me to pour a drink and have a selfish self centered pity party after my death.

hope you poured it out and did something different.
