Not born drunk sad depressed
Lonely, lost, thoughts suppressed
First breath took we're alive
Fighting odds to survive

In these months air we breathe
This is when we're deceived
Taught and shown not ask why
Follow sheep and live the lie

For some they can, no questions asked
But Others struggle in the past
Know deep down it isn' right
And slowly then begins a fight

Months roll on and into years
Now this life is showing fears
We move on and into teens
Try to fit by any means

Yet the fight born from the lie
Some give up and want to die
Illuminati, life's restrictions
Breed new air for some, addictions

These addictions bring relief
From the past and all the grief
Not our fault we are choosing
To buy in to this illusion

Blurs our minds memories fade
All the pain it goes away
For some time now brings relief
From this hell with all its grief

Down a drink take some drugs
Who needs love who needs hugs
Sod the world sod them all
When We drink We're ten foot tall

Kick a chair throw a table
I 'm alright they're unstable
All their fault they Lack doubt
Scream and cuss then blackout

Wake alone head is spinning
Lost the fight booze is winning
No more feeling ten foot tall
Total opposite very small

The way back out is same way in
To the point where you begin
Challenge life and question why
Cuz Drink won't change this brainwashed lie!

Thanks Dee, I stopped counting the sober days but half a month has now passed without touching any alcohol, not easy by far but I have decided the only way out of this pit is to climb out!
