I love you, you're worthy, and you can do it
Hi.
I'm FreeOwl.
A few years ago, I happened across this community and discovered a whole world of information, support, camaraderie, insight, reflection, encouragement and understanding.
Without it, I probably would have continued on my path to self-destruction. I held onto feelings of worthlessness. I was despairing and desperate and stuck in a cycle that I knew I wanted out of but didn't know how.
Maybe you understand what that feels like.
Maybe you know what it's like to feel unloved, unlovable and worthless.
Maybe you don't feel like you'll ever be able to change.
Well..... you're wrong.
I love you. You're lovable and worthy and you can do it.
"you don't even know me", you might say.
OK - fair enough. But if you're here, then I know you've suffered. If you're here, then I know you want to change. If you're here, then I know we've shared a lot of the same sadness, fear, anxiety, stress, anger, uncertainty. If you're here, then I may not know you but I probably know a lot about you. And I know you're a human and I know we are of the same wonderful star-stuff and magic and spirit and godliness and atoms and whatever mysterious goodness that is WE.
And so - I love you.
And you're worthy.
And you can do it.
Sobriety is going to change everything, brighten your world, invite incredible transformation into your life, open your heart, bring lightness into your being and let you live in abundance.
You're going to love it.
Just as I love you.
And you're worth it.
Just as I have been.
And you can do it.
Just as I've done.
