Looking to get sober

I start my journey tonight when i attend my first aa meeting in over 2 years. I was 6 months sober and loving it then i broke up with my girlfriend i slipped and never went back. Didnt think i needed to. Till now. When i stopped drinking i got the girl back and life was great. The drinking came back in over the last year it started out small now im getting blackout drunk my girlfriend has asked me to leave so i can sort my life out she has been hanging on for so long.she cant hold on much longer. Hell i cant stand me either Im taking that first step admitting i have a problem with alcohol. Its not going to be easy but i remember it was a lot easier with aa thats where i need to be. One day at a time

Welcome Ding,

Lots of great support here to compliment whichever recovery program you choose. You have had sobriety and know it only gets better the longer you stay sober. Good luck and keep coming back.
