Sorry that happened. Just try to learn from it and not beat yourself to death over it. Learn that one drink is one to many for those like us. Best wishes, newb.

I'm feeling okay. Still a bit woozy. I can usually go a week or so without drinking. But then I fall back into old habits. I'm worried about when the shame fades. I'm hoping to check out some meetings this week. Thanks for asking.

BTDT = Been there done that...Is there more I missed?
FAS= Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
AV = Alcoholic Voice....what you tell yourself in your head to justify you can just have a few when you know d@mn well you will drink into The Land Of Oblivion!
