Thanks Pete.

My worry is wearing itself out. I'm going to bed now. Nothing more I can do tonight. I'll watch silly pets and listen to meditation on YouTube until I drift off. What a life, eh??

Hey everybody. I so enjoy reading the weekender, thanks for the smiles. Ok here goes.

Midwest1981 - I asked if she ate her chocolate bar, nope it's in the stash box with the others. I may have stumbled on the perfect last second gift. I had expected her to notice what I did so we could have a laugh. I'll save the story for some day.

Della1968 - I would love to paint every room in my house. But I got lots of wall paper and two adult children. The cleanup and pre work would kill me. I do have a bathroom renovation that's waiting for me tho.

saoutchik - Wow, nice car, looks like you put a lot of sweat a tears into that.

LadyBlue - Last year, I spent a week in Portland, Main down near commercial street, along the piers. The business I was visiting was right on the piers. We ate in the restaurants there every night. OMG, I'd never eaten so much seafood in one week before. And the restaurants were all wonderful and crazy busy the place was packed with tourists. I'd love to go back.

mecanix - Fat and Lazy is how I feel. I stopped going to the gym and have tried restarting several times. I'm not beating myself up about tho, I realize I've got some recovery do to. It'll come back in time. I hope to be able to run the June 10k, it'll be my 10th year.

Pete6256 - "Sobriety bender" I love that term. So what is it, you and 10 gallons of ice cream, doors locked, window shades down?

BixBees - I almost forgot the bees. So that s'plains the name? Bee keeping (from my perspective) must be so cool. From you perspective I'm guessing it's a lot of hard work?

SoberT...bees are WAY cool, and they are not much work, but honey weighs a lot, so the little work you do is kind of back-intensive!!

Oh, the car is a thing of beauty. I'm one of those folks who has been around SR for a while so got to read along as Sao restored the Lancia. I'm glad you've found a buyer, Sao, but in the back of my mind I still wanted to gain some kind of Harry Potteresque power so that I could transport myself to England for a ride in the car before it was sold. Complete with dark sunglasses and a jazzy, expensive scarf!

Alas! No such thing as a Potteresque wand!

Off to bed, so glad tomorrow is Friday! I have great plans for recovery this weekend. Go to a few meetings, and I'm going to write out the names of some of the books on the book list at the top of the newcomers forum and take it with me to the library. I also want to write out all the bad things I got from drinking, it will help me remember. Then, I want to do something just for fun. Can't decide what. And, of course I'll be here a lot.

I'm in...a little late to the party, so I'll just take a seat in the back of the bus.

AA meetings, house pottering and spending time with the real Scruffanie (avatar pic) are my plans this weekend.

Have an awesome weekend everyone.

Pete- I love the idea of a sober bender! There is nothing wrong with resetting yourself.
