Dealing with it
Hi everyone.Well I started a thread yestetday entitled 'Coming alive'.The replies were all Gold.Long story short...The pesky guy who had been bothering me at Church,by airing his opinions on our Church leaders etc, tried to engage me in conversation in a public cafe this morning. Not in my home town but a nearby one.Coincidence I know.I blanked him.He persisted.I continued to blank him.He then became aggressive. He did not physically touch me but was in my face. The manager was clearing tables so I called him over.I am sooo very proud of myself for dealing with this so well.
Jo,
I give pesky people the evil eye. I don't even have to say anything usually.
They see that look. Usually, they say a rude remark...and leave me be.
If they are persistent...i will say...stay away from me....stop talking to me...etc
Rude folks need rudeness back at them. Then they get offended.
Hopefully your offender never gets physical.
