That worries me to steely , I live in the bush and we have had recent fires in the area some nut case thought it was a bit of fun to deliberately light a fire in this drought and heat. I can smell smoke in the air today . Forecast 39 we were 29 at 7.30 am .

845 am and today is already very hot & much less comfortable than yesterday - so, take it easy out there folks

Anna I think you would love Australia - maybe not in summer though

Heat seems to have gone bonkers in NSW and SA. I havent read up on the reasons for it. We've had a fairly mild summer in Melbourne. I dont think we've even hit 40C yet. I hope you are all managing the heat well. Lots of hydration, cold towels around the neck and be like a vampire.
